Katelyn Johnson has a Bachelor in Elementary Education and a Bachelor in Bible & Theology from Appalachian Bible College and is a licensed teacher in the state of West Virginia. Originally from New York, Katie met her husband, Drew Johnson, while attending ABC. After graduating, they spent a year serving short term with Word of Life Bible Institute in Hungary as the Assistant Deans of Students before returning to West Virginia. The Johnsons have recently moved to the Norfolk area so that Drew could continue his studies at Virginia Beach Theological Seminary. Katie is excited to join the team here at DBCS teaching first grade and looks forward to seeing God work in the hearts and minds of her students.
